Deidra Wager was a senior executive at Starbucks Coffee company. As executive vice president, Retail North America, she led operations, marketing, real estate and store development. She spent four years in Tokyo, Japan, as Chief Retail Officer, Starbucks Japan.
She serves on the board of NorthWest Harvest, Washington state's leading hunger relief agency. She served 12 years on the board of CARE, the international NGO focused on empowerment of women and girls. She is co-founder and serves on the board of The Lacewing Foundation, dedicated to improving health and education of women and children. She serves on the Advisory Board of Cancer Lifeline, providing safety net services to cancer patients. She served 10 years on the governing council and board of IFMR Holdings (Dvara Holdings)based in Chennai, India, focused on financial inclusion for individuals and enterprises in remote and rural India. An abiding interest in the arts led her to serve on the Pacific Northwest Ballet board of Trustees and Advisory Council.
She holds a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota and attended the Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program.
