Sean C. Rush is the former Chairman and Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ education and non-profit practice in the United States.  As Chairman, he led 1,500 professionals serving 2,000 clients throughout the U.S., generating $100+M in billings in 1993.  He was named General Manager of IBM’s Global Education Industry Group in 1994 where he grew the business to $2.2 billion in sales by 2006.  After a year at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, he was appointed President & CEO of JA Worldwide in 2008, where he led a $310M global operation serving 10.4 million students in 123 countries, with 3,000 staff, 430,000 volunteers, and Regional Operating Centers in Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle-East, and the U.S.  

Sean currently serves as a Director/Trustee/Overseer for numerous educational, civic, and cultural institutions, including The Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University; the National Leadership Institute; The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation; the Boston Symphony Orchestra; Babson College and the Harvard Kennedy School. He also has been an active constituent in the World Economic Forum and a guest lecturer for the Rhodes Scholars at the University of Oxford.  Additionally, he is deeply engaged in the growth and development of the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy in Nairobi, Kenya, a tuition-free secondary school for girls in Africa’s largest slum.  Sean is the author, editor, or contributor to 20+ books and articles on the mission, governance, leadership, and operations of institutions of higher education.  In addition to an MPA from the Kennedy School, Sean holds an AB and MBA from Boston College and an MS from Boston University.
