To the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Community,

I hope you enjoyed the festivities of Commencement Week and have a chance now to reflect and relax.

Last Wednesday, after our Class Day activities, we heard a speech from former U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon—a proud MC/MPA 1984 alumnus. You can read about his talk. On Thursday, we followed the Commencement Ceremony in Harvard Yard by presenting diplomas to the members of the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Class of 2023 and celebrating their accomplishments with their families and friends (including brief remarks by me). Congratulations to the graduates! To see highlights of the exciting week and the academic year, please watch .

As we mark the end of the academic year, I invite you to read an update on some of the work underway at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. Most of us are focused on our own projects most of the time, and I hope that this update—while far from a complete report—gives you some sense of other important activities that are taking place.

My best wishes for a happy and productive summer,
Doug
