Se-In is a PhD student in the Population Health Sciences program of the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, associated with the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interest focuses on improving health care quality and understanding consumer decision-making in health care in low-income settings. Prior to joining Harvard, she worked as a manager for Korea International Cooperation Agency HQ and Ethiopia Office, where she managed multiple development projects in the health sector. Se-In received a Master of Public Policy degree in 2018 from Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management, where she received an award for the outstanding thesis on health-seeking behaviors in Uganda. She further holds a BA in political science from Korea University.
