William Monroe Trotter may not be a familiar name as W.E.B Dubois or Booker T. Washington in Black History, but he was an early leader in the movement for civil rights. "The activism of today in many ways mirrors what we saw during Trotter's time and under Trotter's leadership," said the Rev. Cornell William Brooks.
