WAPPP’s spring seminar, Behavioral Science for Inclusive Organizations, focused on evidence-based approaches to advancing fairness at work so that everyone can thrive and organizations can excel.
Led by Iris Bohnet, Albert Pratt Professor of Business and Government and WAPPP co-director, in conjunction with Bohnet's course , the seminar series built on data and behavioral design (especially focused on behavioral "nudges") to better understand what works to promote change in government, business and society.
Featuring experts across sectors—entrepreneurs who have built evidence-based tools; Human Resources leaders and behavioral designers committed to fairness in the workplace; as well as policy-makers and -shapers working to advance equity at work—the seminar explored how organizations can promote desired behaviors around effective talent management, create organizational policies and practices that level the playing field for all, and build an inclusive culture in the workplace.
This virtual seminar series was organized by the Women and Public Policy Program and co-sponsored by the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.
