PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Emerging technologies like generative artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous systems, digital currencies, synthetic biology, and space exploration are rapidly reshaping our world. They present both unprecedented opportunities and profound challenges. To provide digital transformation leadership, policymakers, technologists, and global leaders in the public and private sectors must gain a deep understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with these technologies.
Leadership in Emerging Technology: Security, Strategy & Risk is a groundbreaking Executive Education program designed to equip leaders with the technical, strategic, and policy foundations necessary to navigate these critical emerging technologies. Led by Eric Rosenbach, former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense and the visionary behind the Pentagon's Defense Innovation Unit, this program meticulously examines a wide range of emerging technologies along with associated risks and opportunities.
PROGRAM CURRICULUM
Leadership in Emerging Technology begins by delving into the pivotal role of AI, particularly generative AI, in driving advancements in the fields of biotechnology, space exploration, autonomous systems, and cryptocurrency. In this context, you will critically analyze the geopolitical, security, legal, and corporate risks associated with related technologies while also identifying opportunities for your organization or work. In parallel, you will gain skills in leading digital execution and learn how to apply agile leadership in the digital age.
In addition to Professor Rosenbach's extensive experience at the Pentagon and his leadership at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, this program features world-renowned Harvard faculty and expert practitioners, offering cyber incident response training. The dynamic and highly interactive sessions include lectures, case studies, guided discussions, and individual and peer-to-peer learning, focusing on non-technical cybersecurity management.
