Anna Burgess is the assistant director of communications and engagement at the Women and Public Policy Program. She is a communications professional with a background in writing and reporting.
Anna previously worked as the communications officer for Harvard Library, telling and promoting stories to highlight library services and resources, and as the program coordinator for content and communications at the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.
Before coming to Harvard, Anna worked as a multimedia journalist in various Massachusetts cities. She covered local politics, education, and social issues including homelessness and addiction, and won several regional news awards for her work. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Tufts University.
