
Ben Black is managing director of Fortinbras Enterprises, a credit investment fund that works across the capital structure to achieve equity-like returns. In addition, Ben is CEO and Director of Osiris Acquisition Corp and sits on the boards of Dogpound, Huddle House, and Phaidon. He previously served as Senior Portfolio Manager at Knowledge Universe Holdings and was with Apollo Global Management. Between 2015-2020, Ben was a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations. In honor of his grandfather Ira Ressler, a highly decorated WWII veteran, Ben and his family founded the Black Family Fellowship to provide financial support and professional opportunities to U.S. veterans and active-duty military attending Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Law School. Ben holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Doctor of Law from Harvard Law School, a Master of Laws-LLM, Taxation from the New York University School of Law, and a BA in History with honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
