Fiona Greig is the Global Head of Investor Research and Policy at Vanguard where she leads research on investor behavior and retirement as part of the Investment Strategy Group. Previously she was co-president of the JPMorgan Chase Institute where she led research teams using Chase administrative data between 2014 and 2022. Fiona served as the Deputy Budget Director for the City of Philadelphia between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that Greig was a consultant at McKinsey & Company for public and social sector clients. In 2009 Greig started and ran Bank on D.C., a financial inclusion program for the District of Columbia. Greig has published research on household finance, healthcare, labor markets, gender and racial inequalities, and behavioral decision making. Her work has been widely cited in the media, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, NPR, and CNBC. Greig has taught as an adjunct professor at the Harvard Kennedy School, the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University and holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in public policy from Harvard University.
