Janice Bryant Howroyd is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, educator, author, mentor, Presidential special appointee, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The ActOne Group. As a multi-billion dollar, award-winning, international talent and talent technology enterprise, The ActOne Group serves all areas of employment and provides critical total talent management solutions across a wide range of industries. A tireless advocate for education and for women’s rights, Janice has dedicated her personal time and resources to funding scholarships and personal service to institutions like Harvard’s Women’s Leadership Board of the Kennedy School of Government, her alma mater North Carolina A&T State University, and many others. She is passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, and believes it has the power to be one of the great equalizers in 21st-century employment.
