Jean Minskoff Grant is the owner, manager, and developer of commercial properties. She serves as president/COO and is in charge of operations for the 17 properties directly managed by the company. Prior to 1984, Grant worked in the field of nutrition. She served as chief dietitian and a teaching fellow at NYU working towards a PhD. She was director and then president of the American Dietetic Association Foundation. She was a Medallion recipient of the American Dietetic Association in 2003, the 1998 Distinguished Alumna of the School of Allied Health Professions of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), and the 1992 Distinguished Alumna of UMDNJ. She serves as a member of the dean’s council of NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and the NYU Women’s Initiatives. She is a trustee of iCI (Independent Curators International), a contemporary arts organization. She served on the board of directors of the New York Women’s Foundation for two terms. She is on a professional council at the Urban Land Institute. Grant is a member of the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard Kennedy School, and was that board’s first chair; she was also formerly a member of the Board of Overseers of Harvard College Committee on University Resources (COUR). She attended Cornell University and received both her BS and MA from NYU Steinhardt.
