Jessica Hoffman Brennan is a Managing Director and Head of the Client & Product Solutions at Onex Corp, (TSE:ONEX) a $32 billion asset management firm with private equity, private credit and private wealth management segments. She oversees Onex’ fundraising, investor relations, new product development, and firm communications.
Previously, Ms. Brennan was a Partner and Managing Director at The Carlyle Group where she worked with many of the firm’s largest investors, including sovereign wealth funds, public pension funds, insurance companies, ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices, and several strategic separate accounts.
Before joining Carlyle in 2011, Ms. Brennan was a Managing Director in the Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse which acquired her prior firm, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). She joined DLJ in 1999 from Deutsche Bank's Private Equity Group.
Over her 20+ year career, Ms. Brennan has routinely raised billions of dollars annually with numerous notable highs. She is recognized as a leader in fundraising in alternative asset classes, for maintaining the highest levels of production even during challenging market periods. She has raised capital for 400+ alternative investment strategies, such as private equity, private credit, real assets, liquid alternatives, and other niche alternatives, as well as strategic accounts and structured insurance and credit products.
Ms. Brennan serves on The Wharton Graduate School’s Executive Board. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Women’s Leadership Board of Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Center. She is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the University of Michigan’s Literature Science & the Arts College. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Ms. Brennan holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an AB degree in both Economics and Literature from the University of Michigan.
