Kimberli Davila was born in Mexico and immigrated to East Los Angeles as a child. Hailing from a working-class family, Kimberli is proud to a first-generation graduate with an AB in political science from Brown University. At Brown, Kimberli was selected as an Arthur Liman Undergraduate Public Interest Fellow and a Brown in Washington D.C. Fellow. Kimberli served as an organizer for the 2020 presidential election after training through the Organizing Corps 2020 Program. Kimberli's interest in the intersection between law and policy led her to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit as a Case Manager before pursuing the Executive Fellowship through the California Capital Fellows Program. As an Executive Fellow and Health and Equity Associate at the California Strategic Growth Council, Kimberli worked on transportation, health and racial equity, and climate investment policies to build capacity and build an interagency community of practice.
