Lindsay Gabow is a U.S. Army veteran and an incoming J.D. Candidate at Harvard Law School. Hailing from Pelham, New York, Lindsay graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2016, majoring in Comparative Politics and International History. Her studies focused on genocide and mass atrocity in Latin America and Europe in the 20th century. While at USMA, Lindsay also competed on the Army Cross Country and Track & Field teams, serving as a captain her senior year. During her career as a Military Intelligence officer, which included a deployment to Qatar, she served in Georgia, Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina. As an intelligence analyst, Lindsay gained expertise in the U.S. Central Command and U.S. Northern Command regions. She also represented the U.S. Army as an athlete, winning the Armed Forces Marathon Championship in 2018 and achieving three top-ten finishes at the Army Ten-Miler. Over the past few years, Lindsay has increasingly recognized the centrality of free speech in our polarized world. After Harvard, she hopes to continue public service in the First Amendment field, protecting free speech and the free exchange of ideas.
