Mahra is a health information management graduate with a Master's in Business. She is also a graduate of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Scholar Program at New York University Abu Dhabi. Currently, Mahra works at the Department of Health Abu Dhabi as a Senior Specialist in Healthcare Facility & Services Planning. In this role, she leads the healthcare strategy for people with disabilities and has played a key role in developing the Mental Health Strategy and supporting efforts to combat substance use. Previously, Mahra worked at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as a Clinical Support Specialist, where she was responsible for cancer registry reporting and supporting tumor boards. She also served as an associate in strategic alliances, opening channels and building relationships with local and international stakeholders, and at NYU Abu Dhabi in the Executive Education Department. Mahra is currently a member of the Abu Dhabi Business Youth Council and a former member of the Regional Youth Council in its inaugural year. She is interested in addressing healthcare system challenges and developing strategies to improve them. Her interests include healthcare data analysis and using this analysis to introduce new interventions that enhance healthcare service delivery. Mahra is committed to fostering innovation and transforming healthcare to be accessible to all stakeholders, striving for excellence in all services provided, workforce recruitment, and systems adopted.
