Patty Arvielo is the Co-Founder and President of New American Funding, the largest Latina-owned mortgage company in the nation. Arvielo and her husband, Rick, founded New American Funding in 2003. Since then, the company has grown into a mortgage industry leader with approximately 4,900 employees. The company has 186 locations nationwide and lends in 49 states. The company’s mortgage servicing portfolio includes more than 181,000 loans for $46.7 billion. The company is also an industry leader in lending to minority borrowers.

Arvielo currently serves on the Board of Directors for Century Communities. Arvielo is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors, the Latino Donor Collaborative Board, the Mortgage Bankers Association Affordable Homeownership Advisory Council, and the Board of Governors of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Arvielo is also a member of the Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee, a group that advises the Department of Housing and Urban Development on ways to build sustainable homeownership. Additionally, Arvielo serves on the National Park Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Orange County.
