Rubén Figueroa is a Master in Business Administration and Master in Public Policy candidate at Harvard, where he is a David M. Rubenstein Fellow. Previously, Rubén worked at Tactiv Asesores (formerly Evercore Partners in Mexico) as an Investment Banking Associate. At Tactiv, he co-managed a team of analysts, served as an alternate board member, and led significant fundraising, project finance, and M&A deals, mainly in infrastructure and real estate. He also volunteered to lead Innit's business development activities in Mexico and Latin America.  Before Tactiv, Rubén worked at INFONAVIT, the largest mortgage lender in Latin America. As Financial Projections Manager, he designed the institution's post-pandemic financial recovery plan, coordinated institution-wide KPI setting, and evaluated new mortgage solutions. Formerly, as Credit Risk Senior Analyst, he developed and implemented a new credit scoring model and negotiated support measures for unemployed borrowers during the pandemic.  Rubén holds bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), graduating summa cum laude in both fields.
