Sabri Benzaid, a Moroccan national and resident, will be attending the Master in Public Administration in International Development at Harvard Kennedy School. A Warwick University graduate in International Management, he distinguished himself by earning a high-distinction Harvard Graduate certificate in International Relations. He joined the UN World Food Programme at 22, as one of its youngest staff members. From 2019 to 2023, Sabri worked to address critical humanitarian needs in challenging contexts like Haiti, Madagascar and South Sudan. He spearheaded humanitarian efforts aiding over 930,000 individuals through key governmental partnerships, reflecting his dedication to public service. With the career goal of establishing a groundbreaking participatory development international organization, Sabri plans to launch a pilot project in Morocco's High Atlas Mountains by 2028. Sabri aspire to expand his impact across the Arab League, where 25% of those in need reside, aligned with Emirates Leadership Initiative (EMI) Fellowship's objective of empowering Arab leadership.
