Sakina Abu Boakye is a dual MBA/MPP candidate at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, entering her final year. Prior to Harvard, she spent six years at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in Chicago, where she served as Chief of Staff. In this role, she directed key business strategies and operational initiatives for a team of over 200 advisors, enhancing business growth, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency. Sakina’s graduate summer internships have centered on climate initiatives, most recently as a Summer Associate at the Rockefeller Foundation. She is committed to further exploring climate action, economic development, and financial inclusion. Sakina graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Public Policy and Hispanic Studies.
