The CEDAW Committee promotes gender equality and women's rights globally. They monitor the implementation of the human rights treaty, issue recommendations, and meet with governments to advocate for better representation and conditions for women. They hold governments accountable for discrimination complaints and their obligations under the treaty, advancing health and well-being and building a more equitable world.
