Current and future leaders in public service—from across the United States and around the globe—are graduating today from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Harvard Kennedy School’s Class of 2024 consists of 659 graduates, coming from 35 U.S. states and 87 countries. 
Graduate degrees include the Master in Public Administration, Mid-Career Master in Public Administration, Master in Public Administration in International Development, Master in Public Policy, PhD in Public Policy, PhD in Political Economy and Government, and PhD in Social Policy. (All PhD degrees are conferred by Harvard’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.)

The Kennedy School’s diploma ceremony begins at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Thursday May 23, following the Harvard University Commencement exercises. The School’s was delivered on Wednesday, May 22, by Nicholas Burns, the United States Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, who served on the Kennedy School faculty after a first career as a senior U.S. diplomat.
