MaggieWe are excited to announce that Maggie Gates has joined the Carr Center as its Interim Executive Director. 

Maggie has been with the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics since 2015, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Communications and Development and leading the execution of the Center’s communications strategy and fundraising initiatives. Additionally, she serves as Co-Chair of the Executive Committee for Harvard University’s Committee on the Concerns of Women, and has project managed the Justice, Health, and Democracy Project.

"I have had the pleasure of working with Maggie in a number of capacities in the past at Harvard, most notably through my role as the Co-Director of the Graduate Fellowship Program at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics. We are thrilled to have Maggie with us and know that we will benefit greatly from her expertise amassed through an impressive career in communications, fundraising, and project management," said Carr Center Faculty Director Mathias Risse.

We look forward to working with Maggie and continuing to engage with the Carr Center community throughout the rest of the spring semester.
