My research centers on Universal Health Coverage Policies, the use of frugal technology to improve health outcomes, and addressing food security in low-income countries. Currently, I'm working on three projects for my dissertation. The first paper evaluates the impact of Community-Based Health Insurance (CBHI) in Senegal, with a particular focus on maternal and reproductive health. The second project, based on an ongoing randomized controlled trial in Kenya with Prof. Jessica Cohen, Prof. Maggie McConnell, and others, assesses the effectiveness of an AI-powered chatbot in increasing family planning uptake. My third, tentative paper explores the impact of free childcare policies in Senegal and potentially other sub-Saharan African countries.
