Pre-Doctoral Research Fellows
We recruiting up to two full-time predoctoral research fellows to start in summer 2025. Research Fellows will support and collaborate on a series of projects related to the regional dimensions of inequality in the United States and other countries. The project entails constructing and analyzing novel data on the factors that make regional economies prosperous and resilient to economic shocks and the effectiveness of industrial, place-based, and other policies in helping regions adjust to adverse changes in economic conditions. Industrial Policy Postdoctoral Research Fellows
The Reimagining the Economy Project, in collaboration with the Center for International Development, is looking to hire 2 postdoctoral fellows for a one-year fellowship, to work on industrial policy in developing countries. We are interested in how different countries are using industrial policy to target specific sectors, job creation, and innovation, as well as the underlying institutional structures and state capacity to implement such policy. The fellow will join a tight-knit research community at CID. During the fellowship period, fellows will be expected to work on an academic paper (or book), write blogs, participate in workshops and study groups, and engage with the broader student and research community at the Harvard Kennedy School.
