API-102

This course builds on API-101 to develop microeconomic and macroeconomic tools of analysis for policy problems through various policy applications. The course is broadly focused on evaluating the rationale for government intervention in the economy and evaluating the efficiency, incentive, and distributional effects of government policies through US and international applications.

Prerequisites: API-101 or equivalent. Students may receive credit for both API-102 and API-110 or API-112 only if API-102 is taken first.
