U.S. climate policy is increasingly intertwined with trade policy under joint climate, competitiveness, and geopolitical concerns. In this Energy Policy Seminar, Kyle Meng, Associate Professor of Environmental Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a recent Senior Climate Economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers, will discuss developments in U.S. climate and trade policy, future design considerations, and their consequences.
