Dan Levy, Senior Lecturer in Public Policy, teaches courses in quantitative methods, policy analysis, and program evaluation. Passionate about effective teaching and learning, he has authored the books "" with Angela Pérez and "." He served as a founding faculty member of SLATE, the Harvard Kennedy School's teaching and learning initiative, and as the founding faculty director of the Public Leadership Credential, the school's flagship online learning initiative. He co-founded , a web application aimed at helping faculty members teach more effectively and inclusively.
Levy has conducted evaluations of several programs, including an intervention to improve transparency and accountability in delivery of health services in Indonesia and Tanzania, girl-friendly school construction programs in Burkina Faso, and Niger, and a conditional cash transfer program in Jamaica. He authored the book "" and serves as faculty affiliate of (MIT), CID, and the .
He teaches in several executive education programs, including "Leading Successful Programs: Using Evidence to Assess Effectiveness" and "Leading in Artificial Intelligence."
He grew up in Venezuela and received his Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University.
