Sophia Monaghan
Sophia Monaghan is a strategic fundraiser and team leader dedicated to advancing the impact of mission-driven organizations. She recently served as Vice President for Development and Campaign at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she led a record-breaking fundraising campaign, securing significant gifts and guiding a team to raise the majority of the hospital’s philanthropic revenue. Previously, as Director of Principal and Major Gifts at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, she and her team contributed to the largest hospital campaign in New England at the time. Sophia effectively builds partnerships with faculty and philanthropists and also inspires fundraising teams to exceed goals for national renowned organizations that lead the way in research and care. She holds a B.A. in History from Haverford College, an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Politics from NYU. Her international experience includes field research in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Egypt, and she has lived in Scotland and Northern Ireland, all of which inspired her interest in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's global focus.
