Abstract

The article presents fictitious accounts of possible technological innovations that might be designed to address rising global temperatures in the 100 years following 2013. According to the accounts, solar geoengineering could be used to spray particles into the atmosphere and deflect solar radiation. The possibility of an international climate treaty to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is mentioned. Other topics include international relations, a fictitious U.S. drought, and genetic manipulation technologies.
