Abstract
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech in Washington, DC, Professor Burns lauds King as a modern day founding father, standing equal to Jefferson, Adams, Madison, and Hamilton, the people who invented America, designed its government, and shaped its unique democratic experiment.
