Abstract

Today, more people than ever before are conscious of a simple fact: fundamental changes in the global system are urgently required to keep our planet habitable. We have promising technologies and traditions that can help to restore a healthy relationship between humanity and Earth's resources, and we have the ability to invest in more of these technologies and amplify these traditions. We have sophisticated legislation and other roadmaps available for understanding how to transform our economy into a more sustainable one. In many ways, we have the answers to solve our climate problems. What we don't seem to have is the political will.
