Abstract
The article offers information on association between income and life expectancy. It mentions information on diffusion of health-care innovation and resultant improvements in life expectancy are not inevitable, particularly given several related forces. It mentions that evidence suggests that resource misalignment is associated with underperformance on health measures and large health disparities in some high-income countries.
