Financial Information
Program Fees | You'll find details about a program’s fee on its homepage. Depending on the format of the program (on campus, online, or blended), this fee can include tuition, housing, meals, and curricular materials. The fee structure is tailored to the executive program, so please check each program's page carefully. |
Payment Terms | Once accepted to a program, you’ll receive an invoice for payment, which is due upon receipt of the invoice. Payment can be made by credit card, check, or bank wire transfer. You’ll receive specific payment instructions once admitted. |
Fellowships | Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education works with various organizations to offer fellowships to certain programs. Please check individual program webpages to see if fellowship opportunities are available. An application is usually required. |
Funding for U.S. Service Members and Veterans | Effective December 2024, Executive Education programs are no longer eligible for Veteran Affairs (VA) educational benefits. |
Outside Scholarships and Fellowships | Financial assistance for training is often available from outside organizations. Please contact these organizations directly with your inquiries. Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education does not facilitate this process. |
Policies
Attendance Policy | Participants are admitted with the understanding that they will be free from work responsibilities and able to devote their full attention to the program throughout its duration. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion, you must attend all class sessions and participate in all group work and events. |
Withdrawal and Refund Policy | If you can no longer attend a program, please email a withdrawal request to the program director. You will be eligible for a refund if you submit the request at least 21 days before the program start date. If you do not meet this deadline, you will be obligated to pay full tuition. |
Cancellation Policy | Program dates, fees, and faculty are subject to change. If a program is cancelled, Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education will refund the program tuition in full but is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or any other expenses that you incur. |
State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) | Harvard is authorized to offer distance education under the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), an agreement that allows institutions of higher education in Massachusetts to offer distance education to students residing in other states that participate in SARA.
