Business & Global Development: Lessons on driving investment & impact

Domestic and international companies and foundations play a crucial role in driving investment, innovation and impact to support more equitable and resilient models of development. What does this look like in practice? How can we overcome systemic obstacles to mobilizing private and philanthropic finance for sustainable development? What role can business and civil society play in advocating for public policy reforms and addressing the decline in official development assistance?

Join us for a conversation with Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli, the President/CEO of the ONE Campaign; an entrepreneur, author and coalition builder who has over 25 years of international development experience and been deeply involved in fostering impactful solutions in the global social innovation landscape, with a focus on Africa. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School and a former Senior Fellow at M-RCBG.

Ndidi Okonkwo-Nwuneli is President and CEO of The ONE Campaign; an entrepreneur and Founder/Co-Founder of LEAP Africa; African Food Changemakers; Sahel Consulting Agriculture & Nutrition Limited and AACE Foods Processing & Distribution Ltd. and a board member of The Rockefeller Foundation; Stanbic IBTC Group, Chanel Foundation, the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, and the Bridgespan Group.

This event will take place in Wexner G-02 for those with a Harvard ID who wish to attend in person. Others may join us remotely via Zoom. Pizza and beverages will be served.
