In this study group, we will explore the dimensions of the economic relationship between Israel and the Palestinians, focusing on the temporary economic agreement established in the 1994 Paris Protocol and its modifications over time. We will examine how the imbalance of power has influenced the Palestinian economy and contributed to economic disparities with Israel. Additionally, we will analyse alternative economic models proposed for future peace agreements, assessing their fairness and relevance within the framework of the “Partnership-Based Peace” paradigm.
Joining the discussion will be Merav's Research Assistants, vlog students Ali Anish and Anna Klingensmith.
