About the Series
In the inaugural event of the "Democracy Talks" series, we will explore the structure of the U.S. electoral system, focusing on two critical components: the two-party system and the Electoral College. Featuring insights from Archon Fung and Alex Keyssar, this participatory discussion will invite attendees to critically examine the strengths and limitations of current electoral structures and imagine potential alternatives. Through small group discussions, debate, and collective ideation, participants will engage directly with the issues, share their perspectives, and contribute to a shared vision for a more inclusive and representative electoral process.
